online only lets me upload 1 video per review, but I wanted to tell you that if you buy more than 1 shade you have to sync the remote to the shades BEFORE you install them. You can take them down and sync them later but it is much easier to do it before installation. Shades that are the exact same size can all be on 1 channel on the remote. If you have windows of different sizes like I do, then you need to have different channels for the different size shades. Otherwise when you adjust the opening and closing height of the one shorter shade it will adjust the heights of all of the shades on that channel together. I did not get the solar cell and I wish I had. I purchased the Broadlink Universal Remote RM4 pro so that I could use Alexa to control the shades. I also had to buy a CR2450 button battery for the remote control. In my video, the window on the far left has handles that roll the window open. The roller shade would come down, hit the window handles and automatically go back up. There is a video on the seller's page that explains how to adjust the height. The videos are very helpful, and I had no problems adjusting the height so that the shade comes down and stops just short of the handles. There are no written instructions in the box. I didn't miss the written instructions because the videos explain how to do everything. My one pet peeve is with the broadlink system. In order to get it to control things, every command has to start with, "Alexa turn on.....". This is a function of the broadlink app itself and it can't be changed. (If it can be changed please message me b/c I hate it). I want to say, "Alexa, shades down". I don't want to say, "Alexa, turn on shades down" because it sounds awkward. Instead, I call it "movie mode", and I say "Alexa turn on movie mode". To get the shades back up I say, "Alexa turn on open mode". Its a small grievance, I absolutely love these shades otherwise. If they weren't so expensive I'd put them in every room in my house.

Installing into the window frame was simple with the provided equipment, and there was ample parts for inside mount. All of the shades were already connected to the remote, and labeled as well as configured to exact measurements to fit the window both horizontally and vertically. All of the batteries had at least some charge for installation and were easily attached and detached which will come in handy when the batteries run out. The motor may feel slow or loud to sum, but it really isn't noticeable after a few uses and is actually reassuring to know that they are working as intended. I can use the remote from one end of my home and the shade on the other end of the house is still controllable.The shades look great. We have honeycomb, white, 50% for several in our main area. They supply complete privacy while allowing that 50% as intended. For bedrooms, we have honeycomb, white, blackout. We have a 4 year old son that still naps from time to time, and an infant daughter that naps throughout the day, and I work nights often and sleep during the day, so a proper fit and true blackout shades are a must! These did not fail to deliver. It's as dark during the day as it is at night. There is the tiniest of gaps with the inside mount on the top between the hardware and the frame, and the sides so that the plastic caps and the fabric don't rub the frame. I believe Yoolax has parts that can cover these areas, but we intend to put decorative drapes in at some point that will cover the gaps.The instructions to use the remote are simple and work as intended. Very easy to add and remove shades, or reset positions as well as add a new stop position. It was also easy to connect to the BroadLink App and device hub for Google home compatibility. Support through BroadLink for setup was very helpful. After that, it becomes intuitive to ask Google to open and close any number of shades, and setting up groups or routines through Google works seamless with the shades.Yoolax as a company has been excellent to work with in getting the shades just right. Through some error, we received some wrong shades. Yoolax was easy to contact through online, and worked very diligently with me to get the order right. They immediately shipped us new ones that were set to arrive even quicker than before, if not for an issue on their shipping partner's fault. They were quick again to assist as an intermediary with the shipping partner to make sure the packages had the right shipping information. Definitely no fault on Yoolax here as we had received the original shipment without any problems and one part of the second shipment before the shipping partner even claimed wrong shipping information. Even with that delay, we still received our shades very quickly thanks to Yoolax's help.A special shout out to Fannie from Yoolax that assisted us in this endeavor, thank you for the wonderful shades!
