These mats are great! They are soft and thick. I ordered them in brown. The color is a deep, rich brown. They do not have a latex backing which is what I needed for my new flooring. Because they are thick they still stay flat. I haven't washed them yet so I can't tell you how they hold up after washing. I have two dogs and I have noticed they seem to lay on them over furniture and the floor. I didn't think I would have much use for the small size carpet but I have used them all.
