Simply Slim Women's Dotty Halter One Piece Swimsuit

As a woman of a certain age, I look for bathing suits that will hold me in place while camouflaging the bumpy, lumpy bits of my body. I look for shirring/ruching, a pattern that suits the shirring, and I also look for a little bit of a front panel over the tummy area. I am short but need a size large in bathing suits, and I don't want a skirted suit because the skirts are too long on me. The shirred/ruched panel over my tummy on this bathing suit is great - it does a good job of camouflaging! The bust has some support via the sewn-in cups and the straps are nice and wide and soft. Here's a tip - if you are big busted, sometimes if you tie a halter top bathing suit behind your neck, you will have some pain from the knot. If instead,you tie the halter straps just above neckline of the bathing suit, there will be no knot at the back to irritate you. These straps are plenty long enough to tie a knot and a small bow, if you want, at the neckline. The material is nice and stretchy. Not thin but not too thick that you feel like you are donning a wet suit. I have not yet worn it long enough to see if it fades in a pool environment. This is my second bathing suit of this specific type that I have purchased - that's how much I like it.

I like the print on this suit - the colors are great. The fit of the suit is good - the suit has nice compression to hold you in a bit, but it is easy to get on. The suit is a good one for those of us with less-than-perfect figures if you are looking to camouflage a few bumps and bulges. The ruching is very figure-flattering and the fabric is draped in the front to form a covering over your tummy. The halter styling is also figure-flattering. The price is great for a suit that is this well made.
