3 Pack DEI Sound Deadening Boom Mat Spray On Enhance Audio Eliminate Road Noise

I was only aware of Boom since last year and I put it to the test. It passed. It works as a sound deadener and more. I used it in the cab of the truck, combined with Mats, but also used it under the hood and in the wheel wells since it's supposed to be weatherproof. The big surprise that I was not expecting is under the truck on the floorboards. I had some spot rust that would never stay gone no matter what I treated it with, so I thought, "why not?" I cleaned the rust and sprayed it on, and the rust has not come back through in 6 months! That's really good for that particular area of the floor, but I'll still keep an eye on it and update if necessary. Would I recommend it as a rust preventative? Probably not, but I'm going to expand on it this spring and see what happens. By the way, be careful of overspray. Tape off what you don't want touched.
