The range is not as accurate as stated. i would say that at less than or very near 15 yards is where the responsiveness fails. A fresh battery coupled with the operation of the device while relying on product description of capability without fully testing parameters resulted in the product being non recoverable as it was carried off in the wind after becoming unresponsive at power line elevation and less than 30 yards away. I hope to get a full refund or replacement as it was expensive, and my capabilities are quite adequate for the operations as well as comprehending the parameters. I personally feel as if the product was defective, misleading, inaccurate, and / or possibly false in the marked / posted product capabilities.
