This is one good looking jacket. It's long but the drawstring waist pulls it in to look very sharp. It is made very, very well and I'm sure it will last many years. I haven't been out in the rain with it yet but given the material I'm sure it will shed water and keep me dry just fine. Love it !

Spouse has one that I have envied for years. Lightweight yet heavy duty fabric that will keep out the rain and the cold. It has a sturdy zipper, loop to hang it by, attached (not by snaps) drawstring top that stays put when you cinch it down. Even the top edge of the hood is adjustable by the pull tab on top. Very customizable to your requirements. Color is a gray that is not seasonal so you can wear it all year around. There are snaps in addition to the zipper for the quick dresser. The inside cell pocket is not quite tall enough for my very large model phone, but they get an A for trying. It has velcro to retain the phone. A second lower pocket is just big enough for my phone. Both look to be for electronic devices and this one has a velcro tab too. There's a drawstring to cinch in the waist (that's not gonna happen).There are exterior flap pockets and also two zipper comparts on the outside front. This is a man's jacket but I like to wear men's jackets because they are roomier. This one is the best of all worlds because it is customizable. Sometimes men's hoodies fall down in my eyes--imagine that! This is a winner. Would like it in a light gray or white if Alpine North decides to make those colors!
