Side Mirror extensions

We drove over 7500 miles using these side mirror extensions, across the country, on the highways, through tropical rains, sleet, and heat. They never needed adjusting. Never came loose. Great visual acuity.

Not perfect; not bad

Cool things about these extended mirrors: > They have both a parabolic and a flat mirror. The parabolic mirror allows you to see more, while the flat mirror gives perspective much better. > The parabolic mirror and the flat mirror are independently adjustable. Things which could be better: > Attaching them is a bit of a pain. > The straps are barely long enough to go around my mirrors. > A safety strap of some sort would be helpful. That is to say, something which goes around the skinny part of my existing mirror, and prevents the extended mirror from bouncing along the highway if it becomes detached. Note that I have not yet used these to actually tow a trailer, but I did attach them both.

Strap broke

Had the mirror set for about a year and only used 5 times when one of the straps broke going down the road.
