UE Booms are very versatile and handy. The mega boom has much better low end sound which is lacking in the UE Booms. However, the update created a latency issue when playing a guitar through them. The speaker is connected to the iPad via mini cable so there should not be a latency issue if not relying on bluetooth responsiveness.
