I am a geologist and I got this for my nephew for Christmas and he liked the fact that he got to choose his own adventure when he reads this book . What I liked about this 3 in 1 book ( 3 story's in 1 book) is that it introduces kids to some geologic terminology in a fun and inventive way. Additionally I would recommend this to any body who is looking to get their kid ,or grandkid a great book that they will love to read .
