Who knew? An eye-opener.
Never have worked in a frame shop so I didn't know how things were done. I took at class at Art of the Carolinas on how to cut your own mats and this was one of the two most valutable take-aways. I never knew of this tool's existence. Trims your dust cover paper on the back of framed items to an even width AFTER it's glued down on the back. So much better than trying to cut and fit things and place them evenly. Okay, yes, I am an amateur but I am a painter not a frame shop. This was a great thing to know about!

I have done the trimming the hard way for many years and finally decided I deserved to have the Logan F60 Dust Cover Trimmer. I am so happy to do it the easy way with this great product. It is great to be able to do it like the professionals!

Works well.
Having cleaned plenty of bugs, spiders, etc., from the back of paintings, I'm a fan of dust covers. This tool makes it easy to trim off the excess backing paper. I do wish the trim were a little closer to the edge of the frame, or that the tool allowed one to adjust the inset of the blade. But overall, it works well.
