Lightweigt, durable, and solid.
I had received this product, Louisville Ladder 8-Foot Aluminum Step Ladder, Type I, W-2112-08S, through the Sparks Reviewer program and this is what I experience. This ladder has a 250 pounds weight capacity. I have been putting off some painting in the house for some time now. I received the Louisville Ladder, which is an 8ft ladder hoping it would be enough to allow me to paint my 10ft walls but was really overstretching and decided to switch it for the 6ft ladder I was using instead. I was initially worried about how safe I would feel with the extra height, but this one actually felt even more stable than the 6ft, it is a bit wider, so even more 'sturdy' on the floor. The handy foldout tray allowed me to safely and easily access my paint can and brushes. It was also light and easy to maneuver and I had no problem lifting and moving it around the room. This ladder is lightweight, durable, feels solid, and perfect for what I required and my overall experience was awesome. Highly recommended!
Awesome ladder for many uses
I love the fact that this ladder is aluminum, which makes it on the lighter side, but just as strong as other types of ladders. The ladder is 8 feet in length, with a 250lb weight holding capacity. The top of the ladder is larger than normal, with added tool slots which is a plus. The pail shelf is reinforced for added stability. The foot and Gusset are made of slip resistant rubber with heavy duty gusset bracing. After receiving this ladder I used it over the week-end to repaint my entire living room, and the ceiling. My ceiling is 10 foot high in my living room. Also the pail shelf worked great. My picture of the ladder is in my living room. If you are looking for a sturdy, strong ladder that is also lightweight then do not hesitate to get this ladder. You will be glad you did.
A quality ladder
I've always had a 6 foot ladder as that is the most common size of ladder that is sold everywhere. When I got this 8 foot aluminium ladder I was a bit skeptical. I've always used the fiberglass kind. I was pleasantly surprised at how very well made this ladder is. Very sturdy and solid. And at 8 feet, it makes a lot of tasks very easy. I would always have to dangerously climb to the top rung or top step to reach for certain projects, which is unsafe. Now, with this, it makes those tasks a breeze and safe. It has a nice pull down shelf to put your tools or paint cans. It is also much lighter than I expected. It's light weight so it makes it easy to move around
