Slide-co Window Locks, Aluminum (2-pack)

These Slide-Co Thumbscrew Window Locks are constructed of heavy-duty extruded aluminum and include steel thumbscrews. Secondary window locks like these are designed for use on older-style, horizontal and vertical sliding windows that are manufactured with metal frames - usually of single pane glass. This type of lock fits over the fins of the window frames, and the thumbscrew secures the lock onto the outer face of the fin, creating a stopping point for the sliding window to which it is applied. The lip or fin of the window frames can be no thicker than 3/16 inches. Other versions of this lock are available with non-marring shoes, with larger/thicker frame fin capacity, with dual thumbscrews for double the holding power, and with single and dual Allen head set screws for tamper-resistant installations.
