Shiva Signa-Sein Casein Color 37 ml Tube - Raw Umber

All Richeson Casein is awesome. This is a strong opaque white that, like other casein, does not reactivate. I'm using it to lighten the Richeson underpainting casein set and paint sky gradients for gouache and it kicks butt at that.

Casein is a necessary tool in the art of gilding and frame restoration. Yet it si a medium few use for painting purposes these days of Acrylics, yet it is more permanent than oils, more workable than watercolors, and more reversible than acrylics.
