We live in the country, so the only problem we ever had was that the ring would leak because deer would try to get water and put holes in it. This time we put it in a fenced-in area, so we shouldn't have that problem.

Ok, our inground pool is having "issues," the liner is being replaced and ....wrong...so we are waiting for a claim and remake of the liner. IT IS HOT! I ordered this, it came the next day instead of 4 days later. The set up was easy, the pump tubing...????, we just did away with one of the hoses. The pump runs dry occasionally but we fix it. We bought the floater for the chlorine tabs. I would definitely do this again.
