Rubber-Cal’s General Purpose Rubber is a durable and affordable synthetic rubber made from styrene butadiene rubber (SBR). This soft elastic rubber has a durometer of 50A to give it a firm surface with a fair amount of pliability. The sheets of rubber are still tough enough to resist most indentations without sacrificing their flexible nature. This synthetic rubber sheeting boasts intense durability and can be used for a vast number of applications. This soft rubber product has been through a chemical heating process called vulcanization, increasing its durability and giving it a smooth and solid finish.
