1. Open strip wrapper. 2. Insert strip into the meter strip port with purple side up and pointy side facing you. 3. Load lancing device with lancet. 4. Puncture finger with lancing device to draw blood. 5. Manuver the meter with strip remaining in the meter to have pointy tip of the strip contact the blood. 6. Meter will count down to show reading **Review instruction in product manual to for detailed instructions.

Accurate Affordable – The best ketone monitor
This, ketosens, is a great meter to test blood ketone levels, I bought a glucose meter and used this to find the glucose ketone index (GKI). I compared this to a precision xtra that belongs to my friend and like this one better because I can track my daily ketone level with smartlog app with free. It's a great tool for monitoring your status on the Keto diet (other than weight loss not sure how you can really monitor without one). I bought the strips and lancets from walmart.com and the price average about $0.8~0.9 ranges. The lancet device is easy to load and use. I have considered a breath unit and may still get one as ketosis emits different types of indicators. Hope this helps!
