When I decided to change colors, it was easy to remove with regular acetone. This is step 2 when used with step 1 gel-tech I got really good results. It felt cold on the nail beds going on but the feeling only lastest a few seconds. I have been wearing my color for 6 days now with no chips or peeling and the top coat still has a nice shine.
