I was so excited to order these Drew Sunstone Slip-on Sneakers because of the removeable footbed. I was planning to remove the footbed and insert my custom orthotics. I have wide feet and ordered the 12WW. My experience was both positive and negative: Positives: -- The fabric is very cute, very 'summer-y'; -- The shoe shape is very cute, very Keds-like; -- The toe area of the WW shoe was wide enough for a comfortable fit of the toes. Negatives: -- The inside shoe depth needed to be deeper to properly accommodate my custom orthotics after I removed the footbed. Perhaps 'off the shelf' orthotics would not have this problem; -- The heel area was not wide enough for a WW shoe: I compared the footbed of this Drew Sunstone WW Slip-on Sneaker to the footbed of another Drew WW shoe I own (an athletic shoe) and the heel area is of the Drew Sunstone WW Slip-on Sneaker is significantly more narrow; -- There was too much fabric over the arch/bridge of the foot. Even after inserting my ill-fitting orthtic plus my foot, I had to tie the laces so tightly that the eyelets would have touched if they could have done. Still there was extra fabric over the arch/bridge. I am considering adding a tongue pad; -- Without the padding of the removeable footbed, the shoe was very 'hard'.
