Great Chains at a Great Price! - the price included 2 chains... I thought so from other peoples comments, but I was a little concerned...but they were definitely packaged as a pair. It would be nice if they clarify that in future listings. I have an older Toro snowblower with very deep lug Toro tires...so I tried to line the the chains up quick, and after seeing I had extra chain, I removed 1 cross chain from each tire chain, (pretty easy to do with a pair of pliers). next I deflated each tire, and placed the chain where it would be on each side...I adjusted to a rough pattern, 1 lug spacing, two lug spacing, one lug spacing... not perfect, but almost, aiming the chain diagonal, in both directions... sometimes parallel, sometimes not...as even as possible...the chains cross over on the high spot on the tires, and in to the spaces where it lined up with the chain, I secured the hooks as best as possible, then I re-inflated the tires...securing the chains for a really good & tight fit. Long story short... the chains ended up fitting perfectly... we had a really bad ice coating over everything last week... terribly slippery...the chains worked perfectly... the snowblower actually pulls me along on the ice now.... I definitely recommend these chains... and I couldn't see running a snowblower again without chains...they really helped!...Thank You! and Thanks Walmart for a chance to get these at a really good price! Fit well on deep lug snow blower tires. Really improved traction and handling once they were installed.
