Outdoor Research Men's Transcendent Down Hoody

Living in Seattle, and commuting by bus, I wanted a warm jacket that was compact enough to fit in a medium size backpack. I've never owned a down hoody before, so this was a bit of an experiment. So far I'm loving it! When the weather gets cold and wet, I wear my Furio jacket over my Transcendent hoody. I can easily fit both in my backpack, so I'm always prepared for whatever weather comes my way.

I've been buying OR Clothing for at leadt 10 years and it's the only parkas i ever wear, i know for a fact i have every men's parka OR makes. I'm 77 years old and average 120 days of skiing in Sun Valley and about 10 days at Crystal Mtn.. I will wear a different color almost everyday, unless It's really storming and dumping snow! I would wesr the Filament parka 50% of the time, but screwd up and only bought the Black, but still wear it rveryday when i go into Ketchum for coffee after skiing, inwesr that in the xxl which is hard to find , i've been searching all the outlets thru Google.
