I didn't know that such a thing existed, but I'm in love now that I have it. My son is 1 year old and he was just in the process of learning how to wash his hands. But I had to hold him so he could reach the sink. With this extender, he can reach the water by himself while standing in a step stool. Of course I have to be close by because he may fall off from the stool, but it is so much easier to help him wash his hands if I don't have to hold him. I was worried this wouldn't fit our faucet model but it did. There's two openings on the extender, a smaller one on the top, and a larger neck on the back. Either one or the other works with all faucets in my house. We put the extender in the downstairs bathroom which is the one we use the most (to wash hands before meals). This is just a piece of plastic but it works like a charm. It's my new favorite toddler gadget.

Fits on just about anything. I have even used it outside on my well faucet to better help fill a bucket. My kids love it and carry it around from sink to sink. I wish it was available it more colors maybe even a solid white color or prints. The packaging was pretty simple no instructions I was confused on how to use it to be honest and why there was the whole in the back but learned it was for a different style faucet.
