The machine worked perfectly and my granddaughter was delighted that she could use hard candy in the cotton candy maker. She made cotton candy for her friends and her little sister and brother. She kissed me and told me she loved me for getting her this machine. What better review than from a child, don't you agree? She will use this machine for years to come. I only wish that I had known that Walmart carried this item. It was supposed to be a Christmas present, but I had trouble getting it shipped to my home address by the other retailer I first ordered it from. Thank you Walmart for coming through for me!

PERFECT FUN!!! The cotton candy has a different texture when made with candy but better tasting. Don't use more than two pieces at a time and jolly ranchers don't work too good. Life savers work the best. Loads of fun for everyone!!! Great buy!!!

This works well, but it does take time to make each one. It takes one or two tries to get the rhythm down to make them fluffy. The grandchildren had the treats eaten before the next child had his/her's, but they were patient and happy.
