Strong and Quiet
I bought the 9000 model because it has power in and power out. It also has a lever to disengage the clutch for free wheel of the strap, which works much better than a knob. I prefer the strap to cable as there are no sharp broken strands to worry about. I have a SUV so the provided 8 gauge 12V electric cable was more than long enough to reach the battery. I can see were it would probably be too short for a full size pickup. I also ordered the 6368 mounting adaptor plate from Dutton-Lainson. It made mounting the winch to the trailer stand very easy. This winch is a little more expensive than the competition, but the quality makes it worth it!
