Penn-Plax Aquarium Decoration Accessory - LED Green Sea Anemone with Remote - 12 color options

The anemone I'm reviewing is the GREEN one. PROS: the tips of the anemone glow in the dark, it's easy to assemble, decent size and my fish liked it. CONS: Does not sink! The weight isn't heavy enough. The only reason you see it sunken in my pictures is because I swapped the weights around from the yellow one I got on Amazon. Had to put rocks on top of it to keep it down. Batteries only lasted 2 days before I had to either replace them or submerge my hand in and adjust it for it to work properly again. Same goes for the remote. I don't have time for all that. Due to the color green of the anemone, none of the color options on the remote, projected through. It only looked like green, yellow and red. Maybe a lighter color anemone? The battery container inside the anemone did not seal/close correctly, eventually it would get water into it, rust and stop working all together. I had to return it, too much hassle! Instead I found a light up submergeable puck, with a remote, for le$$! (Five Below) Works like a charm!

Quit working within 48 hours. LED controller only changed lights to green, red, and white, for 48 hours, then started flashing rapidly before it quit. Removed anemone from bowl and it had a terrible chemical smell; made me wonder if it was safe for fish.
