If I could give this product negative stars I definitely would. I requires 4 double A batteries and it eats it up like candy. You will always be changing batteries. Then it never reads the temp in the house correctly so the A/C never turns on. The a/c will work good for a day then the next day it wont turn on. I have had 2 techs come out to look at everything and it still wont work. They verified the connections are good and the a/c unit works. One time in the winter it turned the temp in the house to 32 degrees. After buying this crap I would gladly take a thermostat from the 60's any day.
