Really impressed with this flashlight. It's bright enough for everyday use without being overkill, and the size is just right—not too big or bulky like the older “club” style Maglites. Good for overall use and emergencies

This is the best all-purpose flashlight I have ever used. When I let the dog out at night I can stand at the back door and follow her all over the yard with the beam set on medium. The low beam is suitable for indoor use. Although powerful, the light does not give me a headache. It uses two C batteries, making it lightweight enough to hold easily and to sit upright on a kitchen shelf.
