Bought this to keep the mice at bay in the basement. Property use to be farming property and then the property was sold off in parcels and I live on about 19 1/2 acres so we do get field mice from time to time in the house. This helps. I did my research and everything I read was mice don't like the smell of peppermint or cinnamon so that what I use it for. I went to the dollar tree and bought the little cups and cut them down and glued a piece of sponge in each one of them and I put the drops of cinnamon in the cup on the sponge and it keeps the mice out of the cabinets and drawers. When you need more smell the cups are in the drawers and cabinets and you just add more drops in the cups. It works. I haven't seen any mice since I put them in the will continue doing this for the future. They only seems to show up from Fall to Spring when it warms up.

Much better than others I've tried; great price; portable, great to brighten up a room. A drop or two on the folded paper towel by an air vent adds scent throughout the room/house.
