Landscapes Yarn-Amethyst

Probably the thing I like best about the Landscapes Yarn is the color combinations in a skein and the progression of color. Very soft, it is a joy to work with.

I absolutely love the landscapes line. One of the reasons is the color change. I usually avoid multi colored yarn because the color seems to change every 3 stitches and makes the product seem blotchy. The landscapes line has a much more gradual color change, meaning (depending on what you're making) you can sometimes get 2 whole lines before the color change, this gives it a "sunset" type of effect which I absolutely love! Reason #2 why I love the Landscapes line, is the texture. It is nice and soft, it almost resembles strands of fine silky hair. One of the downsides is that the skeins are rather small. Just to make one leg warmer I would need a little more than 1 skein, if that gives any of you an idea of how far one of these will go. I would imagine it would take a little more than 1 skein to make an adult sized scarf as well. Good luck on your hunt for the perfect yarn for your next project! I love this yarn, I am one of the cheapest people I know, but I will gladly spend money where there is quality. If I am going to buy something I expect it to be of great quality and last a lifetime and this is why this is my go-to yarn. It is definatly worth the extra money.
