Perfect for the home cook

I finally wore out my old processor (which made me happy :)). I had been wanting to replace it with a higher powered Cuisinart knowing it was the best. This model is moderately priced, and did a far better job than my old unit. The true test was homemade hummus. This machine made the creamiest most wonderful batch. Also, the adjustable slicer is wonderful. I can finally remove the band-aids from my finger tips and toss the mandoline!
