BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Programmable Coffee & Tea Maker, Stainless Steel, CM3005S

This product makes coffee or tea making it a good two for one choice. I personally was more interested in making tea and was quite impressed with my tasteful result. First thing I'd like to note is this product looks high end and is very attractive being sleek black and stainless steel. It is surprising light being made partially of plastic however the carafe is made of glass. I think it looks beautiful on my counter so I plan on leaving it out. The unit is on the tall side, being almost 15" tall so I do need to pull it out from uder the cabinet to put the water and coffee/tea in it. When it is plugged in it does beep quite loudly so I need to get used to that as it scared me the first time. It also beeps when your beverage is ready and beeps when it is shutting off after it's 2 hour alloted time. The maker has 2 permanent filters. One for coffee and one for tea. This saves money not having to purchase disposable filters. The filter for tea is actually inside the pot itself which is easily removed, (although hot) when steeping for your personal preference. Not forgetting the coffee drinkers prefernces there is an option for a stronger brew. I use an inexpensive loose tea product which tastes like gourmet when freshly steeped. Also, the maker not only brews hot but serves hot so the tea doesn't need to be rewarmed after steeping. This maker has many great features but my favorite is the sneak a cup. This works as a spring is retracted when the pot is removed stopping the flow. I was surprised it had no "drips" on the hot plate. of course, I could always just waited a short time anyway using the 1-4 cup option. A very welcome feature is the "auto clean" function which ensures the beverage has a fresh taste. Another nice feature is the hidden cord storage making for a tidy countertop.

Blacker and Decker CM3005S 12 cup tea and coffee maker is well made with a lot of functions. It comes with tea filter and a coffee filter both are permanent. you can just use tea filter or coffee filter. It has a side view window display for measuring how much water you want to use. The front display is blue with a complete control panel. You can even sneak a cup of coffee while brewing you coffee. The perfect pour glass carafe is real classy. Black ,chrome , and clear glass. the keep hot carafe plate is non-stick. The power cord is built into the coffee maker. Wash the pot before you start to brew coffee or tea. You can make up to 12 cups of coffee or less. Just put coffee filter in the coffee maker and add you coffee. Make sure that you take out the tea filter before brewing coffee. Make sure that you have the pot under the drip part (I didn't the first time and coffee went everywhere). It makes real good coffee. You can delay the brew by setting the clock and time you need it to make. One of the best functions is the brew button to make strong. the on\off button lights up when it starts to brew and will turn itself off by it's self and it beeps. The coffee maker will keep the coffee hot for two hours then it will shut off or you can turn off anytime. I like ice tea and will use this machine a lot. I used 11 cups of water and a family size bag in the tea filter. Then pressed the tea button and press on button it will start brewing. When the tea stops flowing it will steep for five minutes and then beep when it is ready. Make sure that you don't use sneak a cup when making tea. It will keep it hot for two hours then shut off. It does make a good pitcher of ice tea. I will buy more for Christmas gifts.
