One of the few - perhaps only - of these little whisks actually made of 18/10 stainless steel. Unlike others, these can go straight into the dishwasher without risk of damage. They are well built and will stand up to constant use. We use ours every day and it goes into the dishwasher every day as well. They still look as though we just took them from the package. All others we have had eventually failed due to the plating coming off, exposing the base metal. Once the plating is gone, the rust takes over and it doesn't take long at all before they're shot.
