In 2010 author Terri Louise was injured in an industrial accident. While recovering, her Ex-husband black mailed her and took custody of their son. While bed ridden and recovering, she took matters into her own hands. The court system had failed her, the law had failed her and so had the hospital she went to for help after her injury. And the Diaries of a Damaged Soul Series was born. Instead of getting a sour look on life, she wrote it all down. And in her combined efforts of learning about verbal abuse and passive aggressive personalities, she learned a lot about people not know what to do.(Heck she didn't either).
