Men's New Balance 608v5 Trainer

I am a New Balance customer for over forty years and I have tried other “extra wide” brands, only to find that they weren’t wide enough for me. I’m usually a 4E width, but I thought I would try a 6E to see if it felt better than the 4E. The extra width was helpful, however , the MX 608V5, was very hard, so I had to buy inserts to make them comfortable enough to wear. I usually wear running shoes so I expected less cushioning. I love the width but I can only see myself wearing these shoes for short periods of time.

I’ve bought this same model for at least two decades as my main walking and hiking shoe. The solid comfort and reliable technology always helps me get great results on long walks. New Balance tech like Abszorb really works. 608s have an excellent fit and feel.
