Monster High Freak du Chic Frankie Stein Doll

I really like this Frankie Doll. I love love love her cute outfit. The heels on her knee high boots are shaped like a rabbit coming out of a hat (so cute!). The fabric her dress is made of has swirl prints that are hypnotic (in a 'your getting very sleeeeepy' kind of way). Her magician's hat doubles as a prop and a stylish accessory - it attaches easily to her headband so she can fashionably wear it off to the side. She is made very well, I love all the details to this doll. She comes with bolts coming out of her neck and the usual staple details on her pale green skin. Her makeup is superb. I love her bright red lips (looks great on her skin tone). Her hair is styled down with big curls - it's pretty and doesn't seem like it will become a giant frizzy mess anytime soon. I also love just how posable she is. She comes with a few cute magical accessories: her magician's hat, a magic wand and magic rings. She is able to detach her hand and stick it in the hat to do the old 'pull the hand out of the hat' trick - which is fun. She can really hold her wand - there is a loop for her finger to go through. And finally, the magic rings are shaped like Monster High Skulls - super cute. Although, I wish that her magic rings came with some sort of description, at first we were unsure what they actually were, but figured it out a little after playing around. I would have liked to see earrings on her to accessorize her outfit, and her headband falls off a little more easily than I would like, but overall this is a really great doll! She is a great addition to our doll collection and is an amazing entertainer for our other Monster High friends! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I wasn't really sure how this toy was going to go over because my 6 year old is very picky and not much of a "doll" fan. As soon as I gave her the box she shrieked "MOM, THIS DOLL IS AWESOME" I was shocked to say the least. She told me that Monster High dolls are all the rage these days and she CANNOT wait for her friends to see her new doll. The doll is made of high quality materials and not a "cheapy" doll like many other company's make. My daughter also loved the hair and the outfit of the doll, and appreciates the fact it's not your normal outfit, as she her self is a very unique individual.
