Good Quality Power Supply

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The power supply is rated for use in an outdoor environment but I ended up mounting the power supply in my attic and ran some wires through the wall to mount on the outside of my house. There should not ever be a need for the outdoor rating in the location hopefully. I connected the power supply leads into an existing circuit in my attic in also added a timer into the circuit to only activate the LEDs lights during hours when it is dark. In my opinion some of the installation procedures definitely require some hands-on knowledge to incorporate the numbers with the 12V power supply and mounting plate. I would say that running the power supply wire through wall to the mounting location on the outside of my house was the biggest challenge for my installation. I considered mounting my numbers close to my doorbell as there was already a power supply in the wall. It is mentioned in the instructions that the 16V AC doorbell may work fine to power the numbers but may flicker a tiny bit. I did not end up putting them by my doorbell but opted to put my numbers on a more visible place on my house. Power supply construction also seemed very industrial to me, but that was probably due to being rated for outdoor use and I think this a very high-quality unit that will give me years of trouble-free operation.
