Good quality if you have the tools! You will need a drill with both drill bits and square head bits plus a mallet. There's lots of holes to drill and lots of parts. My husband is meticulous in his work. The directions have flaws. The desk schematic was difficult to interpret. I've read the comments before purchasing and many were unhappy. We discussed whether to try or not even based on so many negative comments. It took six hours to do it right. That said, for me and crafting? It sets well in our living room decor, has tons of space if you organize! It's a nice unit and with care should last for years to come.

Loved this table for our kiddos and much needed extra storage. Building this was kinda crazy it came with 2 sets of instructions that did not really correlate. This takes two ppl to build. Id say if your using this for kids it should be anchored to the wall. It will not hold up to kids that rough house. Id definitely recommend purchasing the insurance coverage offered if you have kids that may be rough on furniture to protect your investment. I wish this was real wood so that could be more durable.
