Algreen 500 GPH Pond Pump

We bought two pumps for our Madison rain barrels to use them with a hose (we used a 25 ft hose with a Gardena Multi Function Nozzle). The pressure the pumps provide is just sufficient but for sure not great. It works nice as a fountain, though. The pumps are easy to install and work very quietly. It did not come with a non-kink hose for inside the rain barrel and I needed another fitting (which was less than a dollar). Overall, for that price I think they do an ok job. For what I am looking for (watering of plants and grass in the front yard) it works good enough. Not so great for a big backyard, though.
