From my experience, you can only make 2 keys to start your car. I got it into programming mode with my original master. Programmed two aftermarket keys only to find out it erased my master. So i got it back into programming mode with a spare key i had made to just open doors. Programmed the original key, then one of the aftermarket keys, but failed to program the next aftermarket key. My conclusion is it can only make 2 keys. This is all I need. I also know it can program any compatible key even if it's been programmed before. This gadget preforms all keys lost procedure. Not add a key procedure. If you only need two keys, it's worth it. Plus you can always make another set of 2, just keep a cut copy somewhere safe. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO TURN IGNITION to "ON" position to make a set.
