I had crab grass attacking my lawn. I live in NJ and houses are pretty close together. I like to take care of my lawn and my neighbor just keeps it neat. However they mostly have various weeds which seemingly try to get a hold in my lawn. This year due to medical issues I was a little lax in lawn care. Crab grass attacked at the freshly trimmed edges and took hold. I used Roundup for Lawns and it destroyed the crab grass as promised. Thanks hopefully I won't need it next season. My lawn was developing a major crabgrass problem because of neglect; this Crabgrass Destroyer really did the job. I started using it in late June as the crabgrass began showing up; I followed the directions and within about 5 days the plants I sprayed turned white and died. I had to spray about every 2 weeks as new plants popped up (needed to plan the spraying for the grass cutting and watering directions); now at the end of Aug my yard is nearly free of crabgrass. Next year should be much easier because of not allowing the crabgrass to grow long enough to produce seeds. I only wish they made a refill so we didn't have to pay for a new sprayer every time.
