Good tire, bad Walmart policy.

Tires are ok, Walmart policy could use improving. The rear tires on my pickup truck were worn down and needed replacing. The front tires were still had plenty of tread. I wanted to just replace the rear. They were a Hankook DynaPro AT/M which has been replaced by a DynaPro AT/2. Ratings are the same. Size are the same. Tread pattern is almost identical. Any difference required very close inspection. I believe the 2 are very compatible. I ordered 2 new tires on WalMart On-line. The local tire manager refused to mount them. The designation AT/M was different from AT/2. No matter they look practically identical. He never even looked at them. He never checked tread depth. M is different than 2, no go no matter what. One would think a person who got to be a manager could use some common sense. A little flexibility would help. I understand refusing really different tires. Different sizes, yes. Highway tread to all terrain, yes. But /M to /2, seems excessive.
