Child Craft Redmond Changing Table (Coach Cherry)

My Husband and I did some research before stumbling upon this set (crib, double dresser, 4 drawer chest, night stand and the changing table) All together the set cost us about 1,400.00 (we also purchased the toddler guard rails and full size bed rails as needed to change the crib later). The reviews were slim and not great so we were a tad hesitant, but I wanted the design and color of the set. In all 5 pieces we had no missing hardware, sometimes there were even a few extra! The crib came with an allen wrench to help assemble. I deffinatly recommend a drill (although is said not reccomented), screw driver and a smaller hammer for all the entirety of the set. There was review stating that the brands of furnature were differet... the set is Child Craft Redmond, the boxes that arrive say Sauder. Just an FYI Sauder is the maker of Child Craft Redmond (so no problem there). Another review said the colors were completely different.. I found this to be moderately accurate. The crib and changing table are open pieces of furnature and the light hits is different then the solid pieces such and the night stand, 4 drawer chest and double dresser) It has no effect on the way I felt about the set and did not make a big enough difference to make a fuss. Lastly, another review stated is was "cheaply" made. No offence, but some sets range up into the 5,000.00 dollar range, so I felt the price was accurate for the quality. Our furnature did not arrived damaged, it was wrapped protected from the rain and arrived 2 days after ordering (this is all parts which were ordered seperately). I am so glad we went with our gut and got this set (granted I don't know how it will hold up with a child yet, time will tell), it gives me pseudo rustic vibe and I am VERY happy with it!

I love the solid wood and the look of this changing table. It took about 45 minutes for my husband and I to assemble. We had one screw that didnt reach the threads of the receiver, but we were able to carve out the wood on the inside to make the inlay deeper. We got the screw to then fit no problem, and it looks just as it should. This table matches the crib perfectly! We cant wait for our baby to arrive and get to use them.
