looks exactly as shown. instructions to assemble were clear and provided all the tools! one person is able to do it! feels very sturdy! modern and stylish! happy with my upgrade . only minor comment is the middle support bar and the leg do not connect fully. the screw isn't quite long enough. once the bed is on though, the weight is enough to keep the leg in place. PS. I would air out the head board if you can, very slight odor in the fabric.
