Bag-gathering limits over-all dimensions.

I bought these bags for storing large holiday decorations. The thickness is perfect. I am disappointed in the bottom gathering of the bag. It prevents flat storage as well as overall size resulting in my having to open up the bottom of the bag and tape it which was tedious and time consuming. This gathering should have been noted on the box container.
