I have high drain equipment that needs to see a constant 1.5 volts. Normal alkaline batteries last 3 - 4 weeks and have to be replaced at least once a month. These EBLs replaced the alkaline batteries and I use all 12 of them which reduces my need to buy 12 alkalines every 3 to 4 weeks so I save about. so this equates to a savings of 144 alkaline batteries or $100 a year. I get a solid 2 weeks of run time on my XBox and my KB/Mouse lasts 5 weeks. I think my cost for the EBLs was (25+21+21) or $66 and the Batteries pay for themselves very quickly.
