Great for beginner

I purchased this for my 11-year-old granddaughter who loves arts and crafts. It was everything she wanted. Has plenty of small activities for her to do and she loves the carrying case. I thought it would be plastic but it's made out of cardboard, but it's still OK for now. I would recommend it for anyone who has a child that is interested in learning to sew.

Excellent for teaching hand sewing!

This kit was worth every penny! I've been struggling to find age appropriate toys or crafts that were not too hard but would keep my 9yr old engaged. She loves it! My only complaints are that the patterns are a little difficult to cut out as some of them are very small and no way to see the buttons on as eyes because the needle is too thick to go through the button holes. But we used the hot glue gun to glue the eyes on. Great buy overall.
