Dry performance

I am a owner of 2015 Ford Mustang Gt and I'm putting down 635 rwhp.I had 295/35/20 pirelli Zero on my car and was getting no traction in first and second gear.I wanted a tire that would hookup good but not lose a lot of handling abilities.I decided to go with Nt555 up front and Nt555R 305/35/20 on back.I can say once these tires are warmed up I get Complete hook up with no wheel spin.My brother is running Et street SS Mt on hes 700 rwhp Mustang they hook great but suffers a lot on handling if that is a concern for you go with Nitto being you will get better handle with this tire.I am running a 10" rim and the 305 tire looks and fits great.

Far Exceeded my expectations

i purchased 305/40/18 for my slightly modified 2014 mustang. it was by far the best mod i have done, and i would go with NITTO every time if done again. My NT555R out perform a buddies MTs in every challenge we do. wet performance, dry performance and even shows people love the look of the NT555R. currently saving to get the matching NT555 for the front and get rid of the god aweful Pirelli tires.

They grab

I have a 2014 Shelby GT500. 662 hp and 631 ft lbs of torque. 285 Goodyear F1 Super Car tires came on it. I hated them. Especially in the winter ! I could never put it on the floor in first gear and go, they just spin. When hitting second gear the car would go sideways. I put some 305 Nitto 555R drag tires on the back and wow, what a difference ! I can stomp it in first gear and going to second gear hard - you better be holding on, it takes off.
