On the Terra Grappler one side has solid outlined lettering and the other has striped lettering. This feature was an engineering feat since even a small weight imbalance can cause unwanted vibrations. Nitto produces exceptionally uniform off-road tires even with different designs. - Multi-Purpose Traction and Handling - The tread pattern void ratio is balanced for off-road traction and on-road handling. Well this tires have been impressive!! Before I purchased this tires I kept getting flats every time I would go hunting on the rough rocky terrain of terlingua ranch in west Texas, so I needed something that could drive great on the highway while pulling a trailer with a Polaris ranger and being able to handle the hard terrain at the same time. I just left discount tire with some new Ridge gramplers and I am hoping they will be as good as the terra
Nitto All-Terrain 32" Tires
Overall, a great purchase and I would definitely recommend this brand and tire! Love the quietness and smoothness of the ride. They also perform very well in mud, snow, rain, and sand. Although, the only con I can think of in regard to the overall wear and durability of the tire, is that they are very very susceptible to nails and punctures. The tread design tends to eat up nails and rocks very easily. But, they do last quite well upon getting nails and debris stuck in them.
Best Tires I have had on a 3/4 ton truck
As the title says I couldn't be happier with the tires I just took off today and replaced with the same. I purchased these tires three years ago and put over 50,000 miles on them without any problem whatsoever. I towed numerous trailers thousands of miles through all kinds of road conditions, traversed various off road conditions and torrential downpours in SW Louisiana and never had one single incident. These tires have shocked everyone I have told about them and am looking forward to another 50 plus thousand miles on this set.
