Once you unfold it, open the easy-to-use valve at the head and another at the foot, you'll find the built-in inflator. Press down on the foam in the foot section and hear a blast of air rush into the mattress. Let go and it sucks in more air automatically, which you can then push into the pad. Even just using my hands, it inflated completely in just a few minutes. A few easy breaths on top, and you're ready to go. The integrated pillow isn't solid but made of soft pillowy channels, which uses less air and makes it more comfortable. I'm a bigger person, and I still found it supportive and cozy. Getting it back into the bag after user might seem intimidating, but it actually folds and rolls up easily, and on the first try it slid back into the drawstring bag without a fight. At the current price of $20.69, this is a great value. Perfect for camping trips, backyard naps, or even as a temporary sleep setup at home.
