This was one of his favourite Christmas gifts.

I bought this because I thought our 2 year Grandson would love that he could handle the remote control with ease....and he does. I just wish the remote had a reverse button.

No reverse

First; we own quite a collection of Trackmaster r/c trains. One speed, two speed... This latest r/c's that are made to go with new tracks are too boring even for a three year old. Kids are not stupid and like interaction. And reverse/forward was the best Trackmaster feature. It is also silent. While we parents like it, my kids did enjoy sounds. Please bring back more remote control features (reverse!). Possibly better controller like old stick controllers. And much more diverse r/c's on market (not just Thomas and Percy). Kids ultimately dish all trains that are not r/c operated. Otherwise it goes great up the hill.
