Worth the investment!

I'm a beginning photographer. I bought this camera mainly for family portraits, but have been learning to use it for nature shots. As a complete novice, I find this camera to be very user friendly. There are several "shooting" options for lighting, so I don't need to but added lenses or filters. I highly recommend this camera!

I would buy again

I'm super happy with my purchase of the coolpix b500 from beach camera. The package I bought included a decent amount of stuff and came in the promised time period. I took it on a vacation the following week and it took wonderful photos that I'm going to have printed and on my wall here soon!

this is a great camera for any non professional photographer

I love the camera for product shoots. Once you learn when to use the optical zoom and when to use the digital you're off and running. The 5 second timer means no shake when the picture is snapped and the batteries seem to last forever.
